03 / Overview

A warmer, more distinctive identity for a family auctioneers, built around the people buying and selling a home.

Making the experience feel easier.

Problem

Egan’s was an established family business in Mullingar, but its traditional appearance wasn’t connecting with younger families and first-time buyers.

Thinking

Make its helpful, people-first approach visible. The idea ‘Egan’s Makes It Easier’ connected the language with a brighter identity and friendly illustrations.

My role

I led the brand strategy, creative direction and design, connecting the positioning with the experience of buying and selling a home.

What I led

I developed the positioning, identity, shopfront and website, alongside photography, property signage, merchandise and films. I worked with the design team to carry the direction consistently across the applications.

Result

A consistent presence from the street to the screen. The yellow signs, approachable language and redesigned premises give the business a recognisable local identity.

Business context

Egan’s describes itself as the fastest-growing agent in Westmeath on Daft in 2025. In 2026, the business is exclusively marketing multiple new-home schemes across the county. The positioning, identity and ongoing films form the creative work I have led for the business.
